Ivy Turns Seven

Ivy awoke to the Royal Treatment. Emilie decided her gift would be Breakfast in Bed. So we got up early, heated up pancakes (made the night before) and made her a big cup of hot Coco with marshmallows. She loved it! Since she hates to get out of bed in the morning this was the best way to wake up for her.



Not long after that Grandma Sneddon called to wish her a happy birthday. Ivy had a huge smile on her face as grandma sang to her.



Later today I will be delivering Heart Cookies, per Ivy's request, to her first grade class. Then home from school to open presents, eat cupcakes, and bask in the glory of turning seven.



I love kid birthdays. They truly are magical. I hope this is a magical one for my little dumpling.

    Happy Birthday Ivy!! I love the picture from her first birthday - what a cute idea! So what are we in charge of for Sunday? It will be lots of fun! We get out of church at 5:00 though... booo. By the way, THANKS for the boots - even though you could have used them - Kyla played in the snow several times and even went sledding! But she wore the size 5 and Addy totally could have worn the size 6.... see you soon.
