time to eat

I started feeding Addie rice cereal today. She wasn't too sure what to do with it, or maybe she wasn't hungry enough.Who knows. I can't believe how big she is already. She started rolling over two days ago, and now she thinks shes hot snot; just rolling all around. I love my baby!

Spring Break... The End

I love my family. That said I hate Spring Break. My house has not really been clean in a week. I was pretty much banned from the computer, and I have had just about all the Dumbo, and Barney I can stand. We made plans to leave town 3 different times for that week. Did we ever go anywhere? NO. Jason changes his mind more often than he changes his socks.

But to be fair we did a lot with family last week, and that was fun. It was really great to see his dad, and some old friends of his.

I just wish we could all be home together without all the chaos. Oh well, I still have summer vacation to look forward to...right?

The blessing of sleep

Hooray, Last night Addie slept through the night for the first time! I didn't though, I kept waking up to check on her, but she was just snoozing away so peacefully. I finally woke her at 8:15 to change her diaper and feed her. She was all smiles and so happy. I hope she is planning on making this a new trend. I would love that!

Cute new Pictures

I can't explain it, and I can't deny it. I love to put babies in sinks. They just fit so well, and look so cute to me. I know its a little strange, and maybe some day my kids will stick me in a sink and take my picture, but I don't care. I still love it! I even got her to hold a tooth brush.

Don't I have the cutest kids ever. Okay maybe I'm a little partial. I just love to see my girls all together. I can't believe I even have 3 girls. I never saw that coming.

another poem by jason

The Yellowed Leaf
A Yellowed leaf, among the first to see the warbling's nests that lifted lilting song- whose wings have longsince primed and sailed along,is now almost forgottenby her tree.
See her sheen fade, see her hue subside. Below, thelovers' laughter lessens. Each green grass blade insuccession,by the sun is browned and dried.
Already, amber-orange leaves fall aground. Some werebuds when she was full in bloom. The winter will atlast lay all entombed, and every branch, with icybreath, enshroud.
Sunny days so few only remain. Her veteran veinshave knit an evening shawl. The yellowed leaf isbared; her siblings fall. One cherished season left toentertain.

SHOUT OUT!

I would like to give a Shout Out to all the moms who have to clean up pee pee pants, and wet beds, may you all be blessed beyond measure for your hard work and love. Personally I HATE PEE! In the last 3 days I have washed 3 wet beds and one pair of pee pee pants, UGH! This morning I woke the girls only to discover that they both wet their beds last night. Addie is the only one who didn't and she wears a diaper anyway!
We have been doing so good the last few months, not one accident, well that just blew out the window, time to start over I guess. Okay, I feel better now that I got that off my chest.

What will we grow in our garden?

We spent a portion of the afternoon yesterday preparing the ground for our veg. garden. While we worked (kids included) we talked about what we would like to plant. I was naming off a few of the vegetables when Ivy chimed in on what she would like us to plant. Here is a list of Ivy's garden...
Carrots
Apples
Bananas
Ice Cream
and Popcicles

I'll let eveyone know when the the ice cream crop is ready for harvest!

Keeping the tooth fairy alive

We had a bit of a tooth fairy emergency this morning. It seems Emilie lost a tooth after she went to bed last night. She put it in her pillow to await the tooth fairy, but didn't tell us it fell out. You can imagine her dissappointment when when no transaction was made last night. After some quick scrounging for $ and some sly distraction work by Jason, the tooth fairy made her exchange. Whew! Thankfully due to a dark rainy morning, we were able to convince her that the tooth fairy was just running a little late, and Emme must have been last on her list since she lost it in the middle of the night.
Faith in the Tooth Fairy has been restored, Hooray!
