You are my home to me
You are my home to me. Where is my peace? In your arms I'll be.In cobalt night, on chaotic sea; When heav'n hurls hail, and sail tears out, if lighthouse lost, and devils shoutI won't be tossed, all heav'n shall see:You are my home to me.I'll battle the chill, the wind, and the sea.By your two palms, there's courage to me;Safety, your arm, from rage's harm, there's one place I'll beenfolded and warm. You are my home to me.

The Poet Known as Jason

For everyone who is unaware, my dear hubby fancies himself quite the little poet. I thought I would put a few selected works here for all to enjoy.

I punched, I pantsed, I swear
I punched a Green Peace freakazoid who was hugging a great treeI threw a six-pack plastic tie, with laughter, into the seaI pantsed a funny liberal'cause he wanted to be freeThe teacher told me with a frownmy actions weren't p.c.I poured a pail of red painton a vegetarian's headI tried to pass a law on Kid-Shows,banning all inbreadsIf ever you build a sand castle,I swear I'll kick it down - and dance uponits broken pieces, and mush it to the ground.I laugh at youpoint at youtrip youtie your shoes togetherI am the best.

typing with a baby on my lap

Here I sit playing with my new blog, and having a great time I might add. Little Addie is perched on my knee, with my left arm wrapped aound her middle. So this is taking me quite somtime to type onehanded. Life in general is pretty good now. You would think with Romney out of the election Jason would chill out a little with all the election coverage, but not so. I think he has actually gotten worse if that is possible.
Last night he had me take a survey online that is supposed to determine which candidtate you agree the most with. Turns out I should love Huckabee. Huh? And yet I still don't know who I will vote for. I feel like not voting just to bug Jbird. We'll see what happens.
