strange traditions

Everyone has strange things that they do. My strange thing that Jason just loves to tease me about is my love for babies in sinks. I have now taken sink pictures of all my children. I personally think they are perfectly adorable. Here is the latest victim of my strange tradition. Miss Carmella Mae. I don't think she looks too scarred by the experience.

time does fly. This morning I
set up a little photo shoot for my
little darling. Really like the brick
background with the soft pink
chenille fabric. I think it lends a nice
contrast. and well, Ella is just adorable of course!

Let's Have a Just Dance Party!!

"Let's have a Just Dance Party Mom." That is just what Emilie said to me yesterday morning. She must have caught me in a good mood, because I was all over that idea. Then again let's face it, who I am to turn down hosting a party? So we jumped on the phone and started calling friends. Then, we ran to the store for some candy and soda, and whipped up a quick batch of cookies. After dinner we did a quick clean up of the family room, moved the furniture, and we were ready to par-tay!
The kids had a great time. I heard a lot of giggling, and more than a little heavy breathing after the harder songs. The snacks were devoured, and it was agreed that this party was a great idea.

From a photographers standpoint, I love the blurred motion pictures I took. You really get a good feel for how fast the kids were moving. They were really cookin.
